Distraught over the delay in marriage, a man committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at Bhogapuram area in Vizianagaram district.
Hyderabad: A 45-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself under Trimulgherry police station limits.
According to the ploice, the victim was identified as P. Sanjeev Kumar.
Sources said that the victim had a dispute with his wife who then left for her parents’ house.
In spite of requesting multiple times, his wife refused to come back. Depressed with this, the victim hanged himself at his residence on Sunday.
The victim’s body has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.
Police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPc (Suspicious death) and started an investigation.
