RSS meet to brainstorm on seizing Kerala in 2019
The Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Mandal Baitak (all-India national council meeting) started there on Friday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The strategy to capture a dozen seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls in Kerala will be discussed by the Akhil Bharatiya Prathinidhi Sabha (all-India national delegation meeting) of the RSS during a three-day meeting in Coimbatore from Sunday. Sarsanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat will inaugurate the meeting of the high-power decision-making body of the RSS on the premises of Amrita Vishwa Vidyashram.
The Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Mandal Baitak (all-India national council meeting) started there on Friday. Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, Sarakaryavah (general secretary), will chair the proceedings. State-level office-bearers of RSS across the country, national office-bearers of Sangh Parivar organisations and selected representatives of RSS-Shakhas will attend the meeting. A prominent BJP leader told DC that national president Amit Shah will present his working report and the future prospects in South India.
“The RSS national leadership has chosen Coimbatore as the venue for the meeting to focus on Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Last year, the BJP had held its national council meet in Kozhikode. Now the RSS is meeting in the neighbouring state,” said a former BJP state president. The BJP has made inroads in North-East and come up trumps in Uttar Pradesh. It has formed governments in Manipur, Uttarakhand and Goa, and the central leadership wants to repeat the success in South India.
