HYDERABAD: The Cooperative Tribunal here has faulted Jubilee Hills Co-operative House Building Society Ltd’s resolution, dated September 18, 2022, to permanently remove five of its members.
The tribunal, chaired by B.R. Madhusudhan Rao and its member Kiranmayee, had recently set aside the decision of the society, which removed A. Murali Mukund, T. Narendra Chowdary, T. Hanumantha Rao, C. Venkateswara Rao and K. Rajeswara Rao from its membership.
Challenging their removal, the five filed separate appeals before the cooperative tribunal, which found fault with the managing committee for not placing their decision to remove the membership of the five appellants in the agenda of the general body meeting. Moreover, society had failed to give an opportunity to them to explain. The Tribunal restored the membership of five members.
