Hyderabad: No info about missing man

He landed at RGI Airport on Tuesday night.

Hyderabad: The family of Marupaka Rajaiah, 48, who returned from Malaysia and went missing after landing at the RGI Airport, is now worried as there is no information about him. Rajaiah who was working as a washer man in Siricilla district went to Malaysia 10 days ago, but due to health problems he returned to India. M. Rajaiah belongs to Nimmanapalli village in Siricilla district. He has a son, M. Limbaiah, and two daughters, Padma and Bhagya. Nearly a decade ago, when he was going through a financial crisis, his relatives asked him to take up a job abroad.

Rajaiah went to Saudi Arabia and worked for two years. He returned and arranged the marriage of his son. Later, he went to Dubai, worked for two years and returned safely. “We held our marriages and built a good house with our father’s earnings,” Limbaiah said. Meanwhile, there was a slowdown in the washing business since some months and his relatives asked him to go abroad. He went to Malaysia 10 days ago. Three days after landing there he called his family and said that he was not well due to the weather. So his children asked him to return.

He landed at RGI Airport on Tuesday night. He called his son and said that he will reach home on Wednesday morning. “While he was talking the phone got disconnected. When I called again it was switched off. Since then there is no information about him,” Limbaiah said. He lodged a complaint with the police station and a missing case was registered. “So far there are no clues. The case is being investigated,” RGIA police said.
