Hyderabad: Following the requests from locals, the GHMC has deployed security personnel to stop fishing and consumption of liquor near the Kapra lake.
“The security personnel will be deployed round the clock and lake protection groups have been formed,” said GHMC commissioner D. Ronald Rose who visited the lake on Tuesday.
The other activities taken up at the lake include, developing a walking track and planting saplings. Presently, cleaning of the lake is underway with the GHMC’s sanitation wing clearing the debris on the lake bund.
