Nellore: A Joint Action Committee (JAC) on the three-capital formula of the state government was formed and a meeting was organised at a hotel in the city on Monday.
JAC convener Sk. Shamsuddin, co-conveners Ch Ramesh Babu, M.V. Subba Reddy and others addressed the media and said the Maha Padayatra being organised by Amaravati is nonsense and many of them were bogus farmers.
They charged that Andhra people were deceived during the bifurcation from the united Madras State and subsequently from Telangana and hence the YSRC government proposed three capitals for developing the entire state equally while adding that this step would lead to the overall development of the state.
They announced about organising a round-table at 10 am on October 23 at CPR Kalyana Mandapam in the city for discussions with experts and intellectuals on the issue.
Those present include Vakati Vijaya Kumar Reddy, K. Ravindra Reddy, Ch. Sudhakar Rao, Muthyam Narasimhulu, Manchikanti Srinivasulu and Jetty Madanmohan Reddy were present among others.
