Bengaluru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has won prestigious SKOCH order of Merit for its 15 projects and among them five have won national SKOCH Smart Mobility Award-2016 during the 46th SKOCH summit on ‘Transport Mobility’ in New Delhi. Skoch Smart Governance Award is an initiative recognising the best practices and models of governance for excellent and efficient implementation of programmes and services delivery by government organisations.
KSRTC won the SKOCH Smart Mobility Award for the following initiatives: WAPPA - Workplace Alcohol Prevention Programme and Activity, Prakruthi & Bio Bus, Intelligent Transport System (ITS) with Mobile App, Initiatives City Bus Service for Medium and Small Cities and Initiatives for Healthy Workplace.
