Hyderabad: A two-judge bench of the Telangana High Court refused to grant ex-parte injunction in a trademark matter relating to Trendz involving Aakriti Exhibition in the city.
The appellant, Siddharth Sai Events Management Services, had filed a petition with the XIV Additional District Judge, City Civil Court, seeking quantitative damages of Rs 51 lakh and an order to prevent Aakriti Exhibition from conducting any exhibition of products of Trendz.
The bench noted that the lower court had not granted an injunction; therefore, the appellant could get an ex-parte injunction and notice must be served on the opposite party.
