Vindictive politics by Jagan: Warangal TD

Warangal: When persons with criminal backgrounds are in power, innocent and righteous people will be kept being bars. The same was happening with the Telugu Desam national president and former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh under the ruling of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, said TD general secretary of Warangal parliamentary segment Cholleti Krishna Reddy in Hanamkonda on Saturday.

Speaking to the media, he said that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, who spent 16 months in jail, was resorting to vindictive politics to take revenge against Naidu, by lodging false cases against him. Krishna Reddy said the entire nation was closely observing the psychic behaviour of Jagan.

He alleged that the AP state Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which arrested Naidu on charges of corruption in the Skill Development Scheme, was striving hard to prove it right as there was no mention in its remand report about the corruption by Naidu or receiving any kickbacks.

He said the CID was acting at the behest of the Chief Minister to put him in jail, even the High Court also expressed anger over the CID officials for the absence of evidence against Naidu in the case.

The Jagan’s government is killing democracy in AP and using police force to muzzle the voice of opposition, who are questioning the failures of the government, which will pay for this, he said.

TD leaders H. Sambaiah, P. Prabhakar, N. Suresh, G.L. Sridhar, M. Janardhan Rao, P. Srinivas and S. Raju were present.
