Micro-artist carves 1 cm National flag on the occasion of Telangana Integration Day

WARANGAL: The ‘micro artist’ Thatikonda Srijith, who specialises in sculpting ultra-small figures, has created a National Flag on the occasion of Telangana Integration Day.

The Flag measures 1 cm in height and has 27 ‘American diamonds’, which are made of cubic zirconia or a form of zirconium oxide.

Srijith, a resident of Arunodaya Colony in Gopalapuram village of Hanamkonda district, said he derived inspiration from his uncle Raju Muthoju, also a micro artist. Srijith has entered the Credence Book of International Records for his miniature work. Srijith has won several awards and has been felicitated on Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav held at the Arts and Science College here recently.
