The person from the minority community is seen raising his voice and abusing the priest for playing bhajans on the speaker in the early hours, which he claimed was disturbing their sleep. "You are new to the temple. I had been here for the fifth time now but your harassment is not ending. Look at the small baby."
He said that the priest was playing devotional songs in a high volume and irritating them.
To this, the priest responded that he would give the number of the managing committee of the temple and that he could speak to them. "This temple has been here for the last several years and I am not doing anything wrong. I will not stop playing bhajans. I do not play them every day but only on select days, and that too, for one hour," the priest said.
The priest even claimed that he had reduced the volume following the request of people living nearby the temple. "Even you pray for five times a day and all the five times, even your speakers are kept loud."
The video shot during the heated argument went viral and on gaining knowledge about it, the police swung into action and made the man abusing the priest apologise to him.
