HYDERABAD: BJP corporators on Tuesday complained to Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan against Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi over the sessions of GHMC council meetings. They handed over a memorandum to her. BJP floor leader in the GHMC G. Shankar Yadav said that the mayor did not follow the rules and regulations of the council meetings.
Stating that a retired officer in the HMWS&SB got an extension in service and apprehending protests a plan was hatched by the ruling BRS to get the council meeting boycotted.
They also said that Kukatpally zonal commissioner Mamatha also got promotions violating all the rules. BJP corporators urged the Governor to intervene in the matter for good governance in local bodies.
