THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The tug of war between revenue department and police continued over Paravur firework tragedy as police officials released mobile phone locations of the local tahsildar who allegedly returned home to Thiruvananthapuram instead of staying back at Paravur and preventing the event.
As per protocol, it was up to the circle inspector, Paravur, S. Chandrakumar and local tahsildar Saji Kumar S.L. to monitor violation if any.
