Praveen\'s pen drive had 15 question papers\' in raw form

HYDERABAD: Investigation into the TSPSC question paper leak scam by the city police has revealed that the main accused Pulidindi Praveen Kumar was in possession of question papers for the recruitment exams of 15 different posts, including of the Group I test that was conducted last October.

All the question papers were in a raw form in the pen drive seized from his possession at the time of his arrest on Monday, a report submitted to the commission by SIT chief A.R. Srinivas stated.

They were apparently taken from a confidential source since all papers were in raw format, as they were without the first page, which contains instructions to the candidates.

"Since the involvement of Praveen is alleged in the subsequent paper leaks, it is suspected that he might have leaked other question papers also, " the report said.

The report also says that the raw copies were stored in his pen drive. Incidentally, Praveen had appeared in the Group I examination as seen in the OMR.

The entire sequence of investigation conducted so far and the presence of question papers raises suspicion that he could have also leaked previous examination papers.

Analysis of the logs on his desktop, revealed that the IP address of the TSPSC confidential section in-charge Shankar Laxmi's desktop was mapped to Praveen's desktop from October 7, 2022.

"There have also been logs of disconnections to Shankar Laxmi's desktop in Praveen's desktop from then onwards," said the report.

Investigation also revealed that Shankar Laxmi also has orally reported that her system was having some issues and in order to resolve them, some changes were made around October by another accused Atla Rajashekhar, a network personnel in TSPSC.

A detailed report would soon be submitted to the commission, officials said.
