Hyderabad: Alleging that her NRI husband Keerthi Sai Reddy dumped her at RGI Airport, a woman named Sireesha has approached the Women’s Commission and an NGO for help.
Sireesha said that at 2.30 am on February 15 she was left alone at the airport. She said that she didn’t have a phone to contact her parents or money to get home.
Sireesha said, “My husband got my child DNA typed. I have a six-month-old daughter. They would not allow me to breastfeed the child. My husband said that he wanted me to go back to India as it was not possible to live in the US due to financial reasons. He just dumped me at the airport.”
The police helped her with a cab and escort to her parents’ home in Vanasthalipuram. She approached the commission through an NGO and wants Keerthi Sai Reddy arrested.
The commission does not have the phone numbers of the family in Hyderabad. They are trying to trace the parents and speak to them, said the members.
