Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to Host Christmas dinner

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will host the annual Christmas dinner at Lal Bahadur Stadium on December 22, according to the TS Christian Minorities Finance Corporation, which is taking care of the arrangements.

Speaking to this newspaper, A. Kanthi Wesley, managing director, TS Christian Minorities Finance Corporation, said: “As per the directions of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, this year the celebrations will be on a grander scale. He said the corporation would send invitations to the churches and entry would be through invitation.

The officer added that the Chief Minister would give gifts to the poor. All affiliated churches will take part in carol singing on that day.

The government sought applications from eligible persons to apply for awards that would be given during the dinner programme. The last date is Friday.
