Kurnool: A leopard was sighted near Haligera village in Aspari mandal on Sunday night.
Farmers working in fields of Muddamanu spotted the leopard's pugmarks and informed forest officials. They are requesting immediate action and protection measures.
Forest officials had earlier received reports of the leopard's presence in the nearby hills, but no action was taken at that time.
