Buggana checks arrangements for CM Jagan's Nandyal visit

Kurnool: Finance minister Buggana Rajendranath on Saturday reviewed arrangements being made for Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit to Nandyal on Tuesday for inaugurating the water supply scheme that will fill 77 tanks using the Lakkasagaram pump house in Krishnagiri mandal.

Zilla parishad chairman Y. Papireddy, Pathikonda MLA Kangati Sridevi, district SP Krishnakanth, joint collector Narapureddi Maurya and other district officials were present.

The finance minister visited the pump house and inspected the ongoing work at the helipad. He instructed the R&B superintendent engineer Nagaraju to barricade both sides of the road leading from the helipad to the inauguration venue.

Further, he asked panchayatiraj superintendent engineer Subrahmanyam to level the route from the helipad to venue, including removal of trees on both sides to widen the road.

While inspecting the pump house building, Rajendranath sought details from irrigation officials regarding power supply, motor capacity and discharge capacity. He asked all officials to execute their assigned duties flawlessly to ensure that the Chief Minister's visit is a success.

Irrigation superintendent engineer Reddy Sekhar Reddy, zilla parishad CEO Nasar Reddy, DPO Nagaraju Naidu and in-charge ICDS project director Venkata Lakshmamma were among those present.
