Hyderabad: Students of Global Indian International School’s Uppal campus had a gala Independence Day celebration, starting with the flag hoisting and an inspirational speech from former DGP M. Mahender Reddy.
Students and teachers recollected the sacrifices of freedom fighters, while principal Srilatha Lajvanthi and her contingent paid their respects to the Tricolour and sang the National Anthem.
Mahender Reddy stressed the value of sacrifice, hard work, honesty, and character formation as chief aim for students to strive for.
Students took part in various activities, with a pyramid display a highlight of the show.
