Students from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh ace AIIMS, JIPMER exam

E. Sathvik Reddy came first in the AIIMS exam.

Hyderabad: Telugu students continued their good run in national entrance exams. After great results in the recent JEE-2016, students from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh fared exceedingly well in the AIIMS and JIPMER tests.

E. Sathvik Reddy came first in the AIIMS exam. Others who did very well were K. Jahnavi Phanidhar (35) and A. Yagna Priya (73rd rank). Divyasree, J. Nikhil Sai, Morik Loyi, Shishir Kumar and K. Vijaya Kumar excelled in categories like SC, ST and physically handicapped.

The success rate was carried over in the JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education Research) ranks too.

B. Ravi Teja got the all India 7th rank in the OBC category, B. Indra Swaroop Naik got 3rd rank in the All India PH category, Rohan Swarna got the 3rd rank in All India SC category, D. Saraswathi got 7th rank in the ST category, M. Mallikarjuna got the 9th rank in the all India BC-B category, and E. Satvik Reddy 20th in the All India Open category. Telugu students bagged 16 of the top-100 ranks.

Dr B.S. Rao, Ms Sushma, Dr P. Sindhura Narayana and Mr Srinishith Narayana, directors of Sri Sarvani Educational Society, said extensive training and research oriented programmes were the reasons for the continued good performances of students.
