Bengaluru: Gayle storm expected, don't park around Chinnaswamy stadium!

To avoid traffic, the spectators are requested to use BMTC and Metro.

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru traffic police have imposed traffic restrictions, including a ban on parking of vehicles in the vicinity of M Chinnaswamy Stadium, where the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Pune Warriors is scheduled for Sunday.

Parking is prohibited from 2 pm to 11.30 pm on Queen's Road between Balekundri Circle and Queen's Statue Circle (both sides), on M.G. Road between Anil Kumble Circle and Queen's Circle (both sides), on Link Road between M.G. Road and Cubbon Road, Raj Bhavan Road, T. Chowdaiah Road and Race Course Road, on Central Street Road (both sides), on Cubbon Road between CTO Circle and Dickenson road junction (both sides), Cubbon Road, from Kamaraj Road Junction till Dickenson’s Junction (except BMTC buses), on St. Marks Road, between SBI Circle and Ashirvadam Circle, Museum Road between Mahatma Gandhi Road and St Mark’s Road till Residency Road, on Kasturba Road between Queen's Circle and Hudson Circle, and on Grant Road between Siddalingaiah Circle and Raja Ram Mohan Roy Circle.

Parking of all vehicles is prohibited on roads inside Cubbon Park, King's Road, in front of Press Club, Bal Bhavan Fountain Road, on Lavelle Road between Queen's Circle to Grand Junction and on Vittal Mallya Road between Siddalingaiah Circle and Bishop Cotton Girls' School.

Parking has been allotted from 2 pm to 11:30 pm to all spectators at St. Joseph’s European Primary School Ground, St. Joseph Indian High School Ground, Kanteerava Stadium, Bowring Institute, BRV ground and Shivajinagar bus stand on the first floor.

KSCA members can park their vehicles at the St. Mark’s Cathedral Church. VIPs can park their vehicles at pay and park facility at UB City. To avoid traffic, the spectators are requested to use BMTC and Metro.

Spectators will be allowed entry from Gate No. 1 to 6 on Cubbon Road, from Gate No. 7 to 11 on Anil Kumble Circle and BRV Circle on Link Road and Gate No. 12 to 21 on Queen’s Road.
