Hyderabad: Two brothers were arrested for the rape of an 18-year-old by the Chandrayangutta police.
According to the police the girls were on their way to their residence when an autorickshaw driver, Md Amer, 24 convinced them to get into his vehicle and promised to drop them home.
However, took her to his residence saying it was not safe to travel at night, and left.
When the girls insisted on going on their way, Amer’s brother Md Moosa took them to Nampally on his two-wheeler, checked into a lodged and sexually assaulted the teenager. The next morning he left them at the Nampally railway station.
When they did not return home, the girls’ parents lodged a missing complainant at Chandrayangutta. The victim after reaching home came to the police station to lodge a complaint against Amer and Moosa. The police nabbed the accused on Saturday.
