TSPSC paper leak case matter adjourned

HYDERABAD: A two-judge bench of the Telangana High Court directed appropriate steps must be taken to ascertain who the present Chief of Special Investigative Team in an alleged impartial investigation in the TSPSC paper leak case. Bakka Judson, a congress leader filed a PIL against the Home Department, CBI and the Telangana Public Service Commission to direct the Chief of SIT and SIT Mr. A R Srinivas to hand over the entire investigation to CBI for a fair and impartial investigation. B S Prasad, Advocate General appearing on behalf of the State Government contended that Mr. A R Srinivas is not the SIT Commissioner and no necessary directions can be given to him and sought leave of the court to direct the present commissioner. The petitioner's counsel sought time to get appropriate instructions regarding the present SIT Commissioner. The matter has been adjourned by 2 weeks. Counsel Sharat Kumar would point out that in a matter of such far-reaching consequences, justice must not only be done but must appear to be done.
