Ramesh Chennithala rejects V T Balram's views
KOZHIKODE: Reacting to V. T. Balram, MLA's controversial statement that Congress settled the T. P. Chandrasekharan murder probe for CPM, Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala on Saturday said that it was the personal opinion of the MLA. "Balram alone should be asked about it. I don't know anything about it. His views are not shared by the party. Nothing of that a settlement took place in the probe in my knowledge," Mr Chennithala said.
Meanwhile the Opposition Leader criticized Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan saying the Chief Minister is playing a one-man show in the government. "CPM is collaborating with BJP to weaken Congress. Government action in solar case underlines this attitude. Even the roads were repaired for Amit Shah's Yatra in Payyannur. Schools in the area were given holiday," he said.
To a question, Mr Chennithala said that Congress would take further action in solar case after obtaining the full report. High command is convinced of the political vendetta in the case. He demanded that the state government appeal against the HC verdict which has put an end to politics on campuses.
