SC Adjourns Hearing on BRS MLC Kavitha's Plea Against ED Summons

The Supreme court on Friday gave an interim relief to BRS MLC Kavitha Kalvakuntla in the Delhi excise policy irregularities case.
Deferring its summons against Kavitha, the apex court also adjourned the hearing on the BRS MLC's plea against ED summons till September 26.
The Central agency has informed the Apex court that they would not insist on summoning Kavitha till the date mentioned.
On Thursday, Kavitha confirmed to have received a notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi liquor scam, asking her to appear on Friday.
