Hyderabad: A 116-year-old building on the premises of the CSI Hospital in Medak collapsed on Wednesday in the heavy rains.
The two-storied building was allocated to a lady doctor as quarters. The hospital was constructed in 1900 by Lady Doctors’ Missionaries.
The roof started falling early morning heavy rains and Prasanna Kumar, the doctor’s husband, alerted his wife, two kids, mother-in-law and sister who were sleeping.
As they came out the building collapsed. Fortunately no one in the family suffered injuries and there were no casualties....
