HYDERABAD: The HMDA said it would auction 98,975 sq yards of land in Mokila Phase-II, on the outskirts of the city, on August 22. HMDA is to auction 300 plots in sizes ranging from 300 to 500 sq ys. The registration fee is Rs1,180, and interested persons will have to deposit Rs 1 lakh as security. The base price has been set at Rs25,000 per sq. yd. The HMDA is hoping to raise Rs800 crore from the auction.
