President's medal for Jacob Thomas
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vigilance ADGP Shaik Darvesh Sahed has been selected for President’s police medal for distinguished service and Vigilance director Jacob Thomas and nine others have been selected for police medals for meritorious service announced in connection with the Independence Day. Shanghumugham assistant commissioner R. Mahesh, MSP deputy commandant Kurikesh Mathew, Changanassery DySP V. Ajith, Kottayam special branch sub-inspector V.V. Thrivikraman Namboothiri, senior civil police officer of State Crime Records Bureau K.L. Anil, driver head constable at police headquarters N. Jayachandran and Vigilance assistant sub-inspector M.J. Antony.
CISF head constable serving a LPSC unit her K. Sasikumar, head constable at CRPF Pallipuram Raju N.S. and assistant sub-inspector Sulochana K.V. of Recruitment Training Centre at Kannur were also selected for police medals for meritorious services. Two officers from the state prisons department were selected to correctional service medal for meritorious service.
They are assistant superintendent at Ernakulam sub jail K. Somarajan and deputy superintendent at Thalassery sub-jail C. Rajeevan President’s fire service medal for distinguished service were won by station officers K. Vasudevan, P. Sathyava Valsalan and Sanil Kumar S.S. Fire service medal for meritorious service were won by leading fireman Vijayakumar F. and driver mechanic Sathikumar A.
