Karnataka: 19 policemen win President's police medals on Independence Day
Bengaluru: Two police officers from the state have been conferred with the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service, while another 17 policemen have been conferred with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Independence Day.
A.S.N. Murthy, IGP at Internal Security Division, and Vijaya Kumar G. Dambal, Additional SP of Ballari District, are the two officers who have been conferred with President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service.
