Church prays for Manipur peace

Hyderabad: Members of the Centenary Methodist Church on Chapel Road held a special prayer service on Friday to show solidarity with the victims of recent clashes and violence in Manipur. The objective of the gathering was to pray for peace in the northeastern state. During the service, hymns of peace resonated as the congregation joined in meditation. The music played, creating an atmosphere of solace and reflection.

Peter Jadalula, president of the society, emphasised the purpose of the gathering, stating, "This is a solemn moment to bring to the attention of our members the atrocities that have taken place. Many of us have expressed our solidarity with the victims."
