Thiruvananthapuram: Vigilance director Jacob Thomas has ordered a probe into the alleged irregularities in the Kerala State Sports Council over the last ten years. Considering a set of complaints, including the one by former council president Anju Bobby George, the Vigilance director ordered the probe by Vigilance Thiruvananthapuram unit.
The alleged irregularities in appointments, sports lottery scheme, purchases, travel by council officials and renovation of various facilities would come under the purview of the probe.
