Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Tovino Thomas said ICFFK is a great platform for children to view the best of movies from across the world.
At an interaction programme here the other day, Tovino said he was jealous of the opportunities that the children are getting today.
“I never got an opportunity to see a Hollywood movie during my childhood. But now you have the option to watch the best movies,” he said and added that the highlight of the festival was undoubtedly the practical lessons children are getting on movie making. “This is a great platform for you learn what happens behind and in front of the camera’, he added.
Tovino was welcomed with loud cheers as little fans surrounded him for a ‘selfie’. “My father used to get video cassettes on rent. That’s how I had my first experience of the magic of films. This continued till I reached the college,” he said.
After the interactive session with the children, the actor released fest’s bulletin ‘Thanal’.
