KOCHI: Driven by its mission to promote more women in corporate realm, Sheroes, the only platform that provides the career eco-system for women with opportunities of various work formats including full time and flex work options, called a community meet in Kochi on Saturday. The meet was aimed at recharging women’s ambition of building a successful enterprise.
In collaboration with Nasscom 10,000 Startups at the Infopark here, Sheroes.in wants to reach out to more women entrepreneurs as well as women who seek work from home and corporate and business opportunities. The meet comprised an open house discussion on things that are relevant to women at work and entrepreneurs. The idea was to talk about stories, solve problems and engage in conversations that matter.
Bhadra B, Joint director, TiE Kerala in her address said: “As a woman, I naturally am compelled to assist other woman to develop economically and become independent. Although, there are abundant opportunities, women aren’t aware and need platforms and forums like these to tap these opportunities.” Anish Aravind, principal consultant, SS Consulting spoke about trends in HR and how women can find opportunities all across.
The Sheroes.in team threw light on the opportunities, online courses and resources for. They said the 50 odd gathering of women that they can login on www.sheroes.in for work from home, regular opportunities and also get advice from 70+ mentors on the website. They also have a helpline on their app to answer career queries.
