VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandan on Thursday conveyed his greetings to Jain community on occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.
He said Bhagwan Mahavir preached virtue and non-violence towards all living beings. Teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir will be effective only when they are put into practice by all, he underlined.
On the day, a delegation of Andhra Pradesh Jain Samaj called on Governor at the Raj Bhavan and felicitated him. The delegation comprised Manoj Kothari, Pabnalal Jain, Sukraj Jain, Dinesh Jain, Kishore Jain, Narendra Jain and Ashok Kumar, among others.
