VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada Catholic Monsignor Muvvala Prasad announced that this year’s "Run for Jesus" will be organised in the city on Saturday under the auspices of Federation Churches.

Rev. Aluri Viswaprasad, President, Vijayawada Pastors' Association, pointed out that they have been holding the run in Vijayawada for past 12 years, with just one break last year due to Coronavirus pandemic. He announced that Bishop Telagatoi Joseph Raja Rao will flag off the run at 6 a.m. from the premises of St. Paul's Cathedral near Benz Circle.

Participants in "Run for Jesus" will pass through Pinnamaneni Polyclinic Road, Siddhartha College's Mother Theresa Statue and Sikhamani Centre before concluding their run at St. Paul's Basilica Church premises near Suryarao Peta Civil Courts.
