Relief from heat, light showers for Telangana
Hyderabad: According to the weather bureau, day temperatures may not be high over the next four days due to heavy clouding. Light to moderate rainfall is likely across isolated areas in various districts of Telangana from March 15 to 18.
The day temperature in the city was 34.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The highest maximum temperature recorded in the state was 37 degrees Celsius at Badrachalam, Khammam and Mahabubnagar. The lowest minimum temperature of 12 degrees C was recorded at Adilabad.
The weather pattern for the city Tuesday through Saturday is partly cloudy skies in the morning hours, becoming generally cloudy towards evening or night with possibility of rain or thundershowers accompanied by squalls. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana over the rest of the week.
The change in the weather pattern is due to the upper air cyclonic circulation over south Telangana and its neighbourhood, which now lies over north interior Karnataka and its neighbourhood and extends up to 0.9 kilometres above mean sea level.
The trough from north Coastal Andhra Pradesh to interior Tamilnadu with embedded upper air cyclonic circulation over south Telangana and neighbourhood, extending up to 0.9 kilometres above mean sea level has become less marked.
