Madhya Pradesh: Minor commits suicide after father refuses to buy smart phone

The boy hanged himself after his father told him that he will get him one after he gets money.

Sehore: A minor staying in Mandiarea here allegedly committed suicide after his father 'refused' to buy him a smart phone, police said on Saturday.
Investigations revealed that the boy, a class IX student asked his father to buy him a smart phone on Saturday.
However, after his father told him that he will do so after he gets money, the boy went to his room and hanged himself, the officer said.
The bereaved family informed police about the incident this morning, Gujjar said.
