Fans create ruckus at Allu Arjun’s event
Hyderabad: The rush of Allu Arjun’s fans to catch a glimpse of the actor at two promotional events for his upcoming movie Pushpa, was such that Jubilee Hills and Madhapur police booked cases against event management companies Mythri media and Shreyas media.
Jubilee Hills police booked a case against Mythri media for causing inconvenience to the public by allowing more than 10,000 people to gather against the nod given for accommodating 5,000 people at the Pushpa pre-release event in special police battalion grounds at Yousufguda.
Inspector S. Rajashekar Reddy said that the presence of a massive crowd created traffic jams and caused inconvenience to the general public.
Following a complaint, cases were booked under Section 143, 341, 336 and 209 of the IPC.
Meanwhile, Madhapur police booked a case against Shreyas media and Mythri media for organising a photo-shoot with the film’s actors for 200 fans. The shoot was later cancelled as 2,000 individuals showed up at the convention centre, where the event was scheduled.
