Hyderabad: A video of a woman home guard in uniform giving a massage to an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) in the restroom of a police station in Jogulamba Gadwal district went viral on Monday forcing the SP to order an in inquiry.
The ASI has been identified as Hasan. In the video, Hasan, posted with the Armed Reserve Unit at the district headquarters, was seen lying on a bench in the men’s barracks and the woman home guard was giving him a massage.
Sources said that Hasan had just returned to the headquarters from a bandobast duty and was relaxing in the barracks adding that Hasan had admitted that he took the massage from the woman home guard.
Responding to the video, SP Vijay Kumar ordered an inquiry. Assistant superintendent of police Bhaskar was asked to submit a report on the incident. In a recent incident in Rachakonda Commissionerate in the city, an alleged video of Saroornagar Inspector S. Lingaiah receiving a massage by a home guard had also gone viral.
While Mr Lingaiah sent back to the headquarters, an inquiry was ordered into the incident. The two recent incidents also highlight the exploitation of home guards by police which is allegedly widely prevalent.
