AP HC adjourns hearing of Naidu's bail plea in Angallu violence case to Sept 20

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has adjourned the hearing of the bail plea moved by Telugu Desam supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu in a case booked against him by the police during his visit to Angallu in Annamayya district, to September 20.

The court held the hearing in the case here on Thursday and directed the police concerned to submit all the details in the case. Naidu visited Angallu village as part of his tours to irrigation projects in the state. The violence erupted soon after Naidu reached Angallu when the YSRC activists opposed his visit.

Police booked a case against Naidu. He was the accused No. 1 in the case along with others.
