High Court wants Karvy Group’s reply to ED notices by Oct. 10

Hyderabad: Justice K. Lakshman of Telangana High Court set October 10 as the final deadline for Karvy Stock Broking company and other companies in Karvy Group and its chairman C. Pardasarathy, son Adhiraj and directors to reply to the notices issued by the adjudicating authority of Enforcement Directorate (ED) on the provisional attachments of their properties.

Pardasarathy, who was released from Chanchalguda prison on June 25, had approached the court seeking more time as he was unwell.

The ED had attached their properties on the charge that Karvy Group and its governing body had not repaid loans to the tune of Rs 1705.23 crore, which were procured by fraudulent means.
