Kochi: The Kochi Metro trial run in the five-km Palarivattom –Maharaja’s stretch will commence on Friday. “A single rake, out of the 10 delivered by Alstom, will be used for the trial run. The rest will continue to operate in the 13-km Aluva-Palarivattom section. We’ll energise the section by late Thursday and the exercise will be conducted in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium-Maharaja’s College section,” an official said.
