Hyderabad: An elderly woman and her one-year-old granddaughter were crushed to death by a speeding train on Wednesday morning, when they were coming back home with family from Nanded.
Seetabai, 50, was holding her granddaughter Pankhuja in her arms, when she got down from Krishna express with her son Seetaram, 30, and daughter-in-law Shobhana, 26.
“The family got down from the train at around 5 am at Bolarum railway station. Her son and daughter-in-law, who are residents of Kompally, crossed the track to go home.
