Kochi-One smart card
Kochi: The Kochi1 Smart Card, which will facilitate multi-model transport ticketing in the integrated Metro Rail network and feeder services, and the Kochi1 App, a mobile journey planner, will be launched along with the commissioning of the Kochi Metro by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 17 here.
While Union I&B Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu will launch the Smart Card, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will unveil the mobile application. Meanwhile, a 'snehayatra' will be held on the day to facilitate travel of differently-abled children, inmates of old-age homes and orphanages in the Kochi Metro.
