Kozhikode: Now Errando is at your service to take up any task that you assign it. You can relax even if your kid has forgotten his/her homework notebook at home. Errando will pick it up from your house and deliver it at the school.
Errando is a mobile application developed by four Malappuram natives, P.A. Razak, Askar Poonthala, Sujith and Shameer Pathayakandi, which is meant to save people's valuable time and energy they spend for running errands.
The staff of Errando based in Kozhikode will take up the daily chores, including food pickup, collection and delivery of medicines, picking and dropping kids at school, paying bills, collecting laundry, buying groceries, stationeries or collecting things people forget back in their homes or offices. Once they place their requests with Errando, the staff will reach the place within half an hour in the city.
The services of Errando with 25 employees are available from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. at a delivery charge of just Rs 80.
"One of the features of Errando is that the tasks can be customised and we undertake any service that is legal. We have also done delivery services involving Rs 2 lakh" Shameer Pathayakandi, one of the co-founders said. ."We have been functioning on WhatsApp for the last four months and used to get 20-30- tasks daily. After we launched the app, we have 10,000-plus downloads and get over 60-70 tasks daily" Shameer added. This initiative simplifies the business for vendors as well by delivering their products.
Available in playstore, Errando also has a WhatsApp number (9526227711) for elderly customers who find the platform easier to assign their chores. It is also planning to expand its services to Ernakulam soon...
