HYDERABAD: Prakash Ambedkar, former Lok Sabha MP and grandson of Dr B.R. Ambedkar, planted a sapling Joginapally Santosh Kumar, BRS MP and founder of Green India Challenge, at Begumpet here on Friday. He was in the city for the unveiling of the tallest statue of Dr Ambedkar at PNVR Marg.
Prakash Ambedkar said that Santosh Kumar was carrying forward the legacy of Dr Ambedkar, who was a champion of greenery and plantation of trees. BC welfare minister Gangula Kamalakar and BRS leader Balka Suman were present.
