The doctors working in united AP were allotted between the two states. In this process 250 doctors belonging to AP were allotted to Telangana and 70 doctors belonging to Telangana were allotted to AP.

When the issue of doctors came the officials said that there around 300 doctors have not given details.

According to this AP government principal secretary L Premachandra Reddy and Telangana government principal secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao issued a joint memo warning doctors that their salaries for April 2016 will be stopped if they fail to furnish full information by April 20, 2016.
