Hyderabad: Man arrested for trying to deposit Rs. 9.9 lakh of fake currency

Earlier, an individual was sent behind the bars over fake currency crime.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police on Tuesday arrested a man who was trying to deposit Rs. 9.9 lakh in fake currency notes in the denominations of Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 500 in a bank in Malkajgiri area.

According to reports, the fake currency notes bearing the name 'Children's Bank of India' was of the person named Yousuf Shaik from Moula-Ali area, who was caught by the Bank staff.

However, this is not the first report that has come to light.
