Staff in government junior colleges allege that they are being suspended illegally, the Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee has said.
Hyderabad: Despite multiple protests and representations to the Board of Intermediate Education, staff in government junior colleges allege that they are being suspended illegally, the Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee has said.
Committee convener Mohammad Ismail said, “Two employees were suspended this year by head of the department. There are many employees with criminal cases but there has been no action so far against them.”
He said staff was also being discriminated on grounds of caste, he said.
Prof. K.Y. Rathnam of the University of Hyderabad, who participated in the meeting conducted by TEJAC, said, “If legitimate issues are not resolved, the committee should intensify its protest.
