Congress for probe into Group-II exams
Hyderabad: TPCC Spokesperson K. Manavatha Roy on Saturday demanded a judicial enquiry into the Group-II exams conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here, the TPCC Spokesperson said that the examination, held on Friday, was no de-coded. There were no photographs of candidates on many OMR sheets and bio-metric attendance was not taken at many examination centres.
He also alleged that the invigilators were not experienced or trained to handle Group-II candidates. He also raised suspicion over the whitener. Manavatha Roy feared that the Group-II question papers might have been leaked and sold as it was done in the case of Eamcet-II exams. Therefore, he demanded that the examination, held on November 11th (Friday) be cancelled and judicial probe be ordered into it. Further, he said the examination, scheduled to be held on November 13 (Sunday) should be postponed.
The Congress leader also accused the authorities of mistreating girl candidates and they were forced to remove their chains and other simple ornaments before entering the examination centre.
